In this episode, the co-hosts and special guest Molly Farnsley reviews the latest movie to be released as part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Shang-Chi, and The Legend of the Ten Rings. We give a little background about Shang-Chi as a character from the comics as well as how much the movie aligns with the comic and how much is original content. Join us as we talk about what makes this movie great, what it means for the MCU and the AAPI community, and the many-faceted scenes of the movie. We discuss the fight sequences, what makes this more than just another Marvel or martial arts movie, and so much more. Plus, find out who is Sean’s new man crush. 

About the guest

Molly Farnsley has been creating stories since she was little and wants to share her ideas and art with the world. She graduated from college in 2013 with a degree in Professional Writing. Her main focus is her webcomic, Everpresent, which launched on August 1st, 2016. She lives in the US with her husband and two cats, named Wheatley and Kiwi.
