For over 50 years, GenCon has brought together hundreds of thousands of gaming enthusiasts to share their love of gaming over a 4 day weekend. This has grown the gaming community in many ways by bringing in new fans and providing opportunities for gaming publishers to share their games with the general public.
This event has inspired many people in many ways. Jessi Kahlo, co-owner of Valkyrie’s Vault in Brownsburg Indiana, shares her first experience in attending GenCon and how the event inspired her to create an inclusive gaming community with her store.
